Edgar Mueller is A Master of street painting uses the street as a canvas. Edgar Mueller was born in Mülheim / Ruhr on July 10, 1968. He grew up in rural town on the west side Straelen Germany. His fascination with painting began in childhood, with the rural landscape painting Straelen.
Since 1998, Edgar Mueller has held the title of ‘maestro madonnari’ (street painter master), born by only a few artists around the world. Given the title of the world’s largest street painting festival, called The Grazie Festival, held at a small pilgrim town of Grazie in Italy.
Around age 25, Mueller decided to completely devote himself to the street painting. He traveled all over Europe, earning a living with mortal art. He gives workshops in schools and is a co-organizer and member of committees for various street painting festival. Mueller set the first (and so far only) Internet sign painter for the road in Germany – a forum designed to promote solidarity between the German street painter.
